Vinification: Maceration takes place for 20 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 12 - 18 months in oak barrels.
Characteristics: The wine is medium purple. The bouquet is moderately accentuated, smells of ripe fruit, black cherries, vanilla and smoke. In the mouth the wine is mild and smoothy with a light hint of dried grapes. The wine is very distinctive and unusual. It is strong and soft, full of tannins, dry with a slightly sweet finish.
Food pairings: Ideal wine for rare t-bone sreak or well matured cheeses. To serve at 14 - 16° C.
