Grape variety: 43% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Pinot Noir.
Harvest: Hand picking, full matured.
Vinification: Maceration takes place for 3 weeks in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 15 - 24 months in oak barrels. The wine is unfiltered and contains a minimum amount of sulfites.
Ageing potential: 2022 - 2026.
Characteristics: Deep ruby-red colour with beautiful reflections. The wine has intense berry notes, plum and blueberry taste and a mild coffee note at the beginning. It is powerful, spicy in the mouth, with pleasant tannins and fresh acidity. Well-balanced and complex wine. This combination of strength and fruit is recommended for lovers of intense red wines.
Food pairing: The wine goes well with red meat (lamb, venison) or with matured mountain cheeses. Also good by itself. To serve at 16-18° C.
